Blue Flower Agate Nine-Tailed Fox Carving

$445.00 USD

In East Asian mythology, the nine-tailed fox is one of the most powerful and revered spiritual figures a symbol of wisdom earned through centuries of transformation, protection that comes from true inner strength, and the kind of luck that follows those who have done the work. This carving captures all of it.

Hand-carved from a single piece of natural Blue Flower Agate, this sculpture stands nearly 6 inches tall and spans 4 inches wide, weighing 25 oz of solid stone. The material itself is rare: Blue Flower Agate forms when silica-rich water deposits layers of chalcedony over millions of years, creating those distinctive white floral blooms suspended in a deep blue-grey matrix with warm iron-oxide veining. No two pieces form the same way, which means no two carvings like this one exist.

The carver worked with the natural flow of the stone, allowing the floral patterns to move through the fox's nine tails organically. Each tail is individually defined, curving upward with fluid precision — a technically demanding carve in agate, which is harder and more brittle than softer stones. The fox body sits low and grounded, holding a sphere, with the tails rising dramatically behind it. The polish is mirror-quality throughout.

This is a display piece, an altar centerpiece, or the kind of object that anchors a room. It ships fully insured with protective packaging.
